Excretion in Plants
Plants do not have a specific excretory system to remove wastes.
There are several method used in plants to eliminate the wastes:
Photosynthesis ---- oxygen, water
Respiration ------- carbon dioxide, water
Transpiration ------ Water.
Plants can also store the waste in organ that are destined to fall off or wilt.
For example, leaves, flowers, bark, stems fruits, etc.
Some examples of excretory products of plants are oxygen, carbon dioxide and water.
Gum, latex and acid are some excretory products that bring benefit to humans.
Certain excretory products could be harmful.
